Created in 1951 by Alain Bernardin (d. 1994), the world-famous cabaret Crazy Horse (initially Crazy Horse Saloon) starred some of the most beautiful female dancers and strippers (in five decades, nearly 800 women with funny and exotic names).

The absolute strip-tease art princess of all times, Rita Renoir, "the tragedienne of strip tease".

Vedette of the Crazy Horse Saloon, Renoir was, between 50s and 60s, one of the most famous European strip-teasers. In 1964 Renoir was chosen by Michelangelo Antonioni to play the role of Emilia in "The Red Desert".
